John Adams, owner of German Auto of Santa Maria has loved cars all his life — driving them, working on them and learning how to fix them. John maintains an environment where only the best, most well trained technicians are employed and customer service is king.  German of Auto Santa Maria has been serving the Automotive needs of the Central Coast since 1971.  Originally sister store to German Auto San Luis Obispo, German Auto of Santa Maria was established by popular demand in 1986 by those in the Santa Maria area, who desired quality service and repair for their German Cars.  We have many customers who have been with us since day one, and now their children bring their own cars to us for service and repair. In October 2016, John purchased German Auto of Santa Maria after 16 years of employment under Douglas Fair. After nearly 20 years of working in the same shop, John continues the tradition of delivering honest and reliable service.
